Studied the relationship between the types of leisure activities and demographic and sociological characteristics effectively corresponding to promote the quality of life, self-realization, the pursuit of happiness and health of collegians. And the results are as follows. First, there was a high significant statistical level in social life hobby activities, sports outdoor activities on participation in the types of leisure activities by age. Second, there was a high significant statistical level in social life hobby activities, sports outdoor activities on participation in the types of leisure activities by a place of residence. Third, there was a high significant statistical level in social life hobby activities, sports outdoor activities on participation in the types of leisure activities by pocket money. Fourth, there was a high significant statistical level in sports and outdoor activities among leisure activities on participation in the types of leisure activities by transports. Fifth, there was no significant statistical difference in any types of leisure activities on participation in the types of leisure activities by school record. Sixth, there was a high signi6cant statistical level in sports and outdoor activities among leisure activities on participation in the types of leisure activities by health condition. Seventh, there was a high significant statistical level in social life and hobby activities among leisure activities on participation in the types of leisure activities by major. To sum up, each variable proved to be a significant influence on the participation of each type of leisure activities as follows. Sex, age, a place of residence, pocket money and major proved to be a significant influence on participation in social life hobby activities. Sex, a place of residence, pocket money, transports, health proved to be a significant influence on participation in sports outdoor activities. Sex, age, a place of residence proved to be a significant influence on participation in cultur e mass media activities.
