Up to now overseas literature data base on-line ditecting method has been examined. Free operatability of on-line data base can bring out the speed-up and qualitative improvement of study and new predictability in collecting updated information. But the problem is transmission-cost. Slow checking with on-line & detecting will cost more than 100 dollars as that of data base and inter-communication lines, thus swift and effective on-line detecting point has been adjusted as follows. First, clarify the purpose of use, select data base Exactly examine the content and fare system of data base. Take many courses since there may be different fare system in accordance with distributor even in the same data base. Second, if thinking of the detecting formula prior to start of on-line telephone fare will be increased. Thuse prepare for detecting formula after fully considering how to detect. Third, take good advice. If there is no advisor nearly, it will be better to consultwith distributor. Also there is a method called "downloading" that prints out any time after cutting the communication lines if detecting results are filed in other floppy disk. Finally, this study has explained the on-line detection of literature data base, which can detect the information on updata overseas sports news and percentage of victories in pro-football as real-time. In Japan, special reporters from Japan economic paper and Asai paper (except for culture, sports sections) can detect with on-line. However, in Korea, there are few data bases concerned with athletic sports science to detect with on-line. At this point when our sports-scientific research and technology have reached the advanced level of world, remarked by Asian countries, our urgent task is to develop our own unique and particular base.
