With the reform and open policy brings the high speed development of economy, the progress of science and technology makes human to obtain the liberation of body, at the same time, the spirit of the cold and empty is becoming more and more serious. Loss of faith, serious utilitarianist thought, self consciousness expansion, Morbid psychology etc. has become one of the most serious problems in today’s China.
Benevolence is the most basic category in Confucius theory. Confucius benevolence looked the benevolence as the general principles of human social relations. From the Confucius proposed “the benevolent love” until today, the spirit of “Benevolence” has become the sublimation of moral construction of “serving the people”, “benevolence” is the main line through them. “Self-cultivation, regulating the family, governing the country, put down the world” became the highest ideal of the ancient people who are actuated by high ideals.
As a moral subject, only through continuously learning moral principles and social norms, gradually internalize it into their own moral consciousness, In order to truly enhance the quality of their own, and to achieve the aim of education. Carry forward the essence of Confucius thought of benevolence, to establish friendly relations between people and people, improve people’s moral level, has important practical significance to the contemporary construction of core values.
