It is known that knowledge transfer has been recognized as one of the major factors for success of collaboration between supplier and demander.
The main goal of this study is to investigate how cultural similarity can play moderating roles among the variables identified in this research. In this research, for 98 firms in Korean shipbuilding and marine industry, it has studied the collaboration between conglomerate & small and medium enterprises influencing the knowledge transfer.
The analysis result has shown that strategic agreement, organizational fit, communication and procedural justice among variables for collaboration between strategic partners has influenced positively to the knowledge transfer.
Following the cultural similarity, it has been verified that there is a meaningful difference in the course connecting cooperation and knowledge transfer.
Also, it will require cultural similarity between knowledge transfer have moderating effects on the knowledge transfer including strategic acceptance and through relationship between corporations.
