Drama Huhjun got the highest recorded viewership in 20c. But Huhjun in drama is different from fact, and it is the secret of popularity. He was born in Seoul, received the best medicine education in National institution. He was a man full of self-confidence self-esteem is strong. This personality changed as follows in drama. He was born in the province. He learned medicine from the master of the nameless met in the mountains. He was always humble, overcame unfair treatment as only endurance.
This imagine of fiction gave catharsis to Koreans who had have big complaint on unfair competition by Regional, eductional discrimination,
We thought that these elements are appealing only to Koreans. But in 2013, this drama hited the big hit in Iraque and India. It points out that the idea for the concept and the popularity of the Korean Wave in fact wrong. The most important asset in Korean wave is Korean experience in its modernization. The meaning of globalization is not the common elements of the world. We have to find people with the same worries and needs. The humanities should open the eyes to find it’s way.
