An overview of the Assistive Technology Center at Richmond Veterans Hospital will be given followed by an introduction to 3D printing technology. Design and 3D printing services provided by rehabilitation engineers give the Assistive Technology Center the ability to create unique solutions for patient needs. Several case studies of assistive technology created in the clinic by rehabilitation therapists and rehabilitation engineers will be presented. The conclusion will focus on the next steps happening at Richmond Veterans Hospital to increase the utilization of 3D printing locally and nationally within the Veterans Hospital System.
