If an accident occurs in petrochemical plants, the possibility of catastrophic accident is very high. Therefore, It is extremely important to review what serious problem is in safety management system of company. Because of such reason, This study reviewed on problems of safety management system including equipment integrity. Risk based safety management is extremely important for equipment integrity, and not time based safety management. This study also reviewed what kind of the latest equipment diagnosis methods is introduced and used for many company"s equipment integrity. Especially, This study included case study and economical effect on the latest equipment diagnosis technology for integrity of petrochemical facility. In addition, The direction of application on equipment diagnosis methods and the future prospect on improvement of equipment diagnosis methods was proposed.
