GPU can improves the performance of computing system since GPU vendors provide the convenient APIs such as CUDA which utilize the GPU resources more easily. Even though power consumption as well as performance is important factor in designing GPU, most recent researches focus on the performance improvement. Power consumption should be considered since it has strong relation with both cost and reliability. Therefore, we analyze the performance and the power consumption of the GPU. According to our experimentation results, high GPU performance cannot guarantee that it shows the better performance per watt.
