This study is the Solbat Area which finished a basic plan of Rural Village Development Project in Muju-gun of Jeollabuk-Do. In this project of Solbat area is played by residents intention investigation to the objects with 64 residents in a region and also conduct a present condition of target area. The result of study as follows. First, the Solbat area has a variety of natural and historical resources. Theses Utilizing resources in area are expected to make a new planning model of Rural Villages for Guidance-Style based on Regional Indigenous Resources. The second, Establishing Sustainable Transportation System in area is critical to region’s economic stability and vibrancy and it also plays an important role of activation of rural tourism by Urban-Rural Interchange. The third, the survey showed that many local people believe the development will profit them. However, the resident’s aging society and shrinking work force are creating new problems. For that, there is a need of Capacity Building for resident and Investment by project planning. Such findings will be practical help and useful research for rural village development that inhabitants participates.
