This paper does not intend to investigate the essence and reality of WCC itself, but to research its influence upon the Korean church with special reference to the theological and ecclesiastical thoughts and church-political positions of two main Korean conservative presbyterian church leaders, Juksan Park Hyung Yong and Hyewon Jung Kyu O. This subject will be served as a timely reminder for the critical approach to WCC’s ecumenism and ecumenical movement, and to its bad influence upon the separation of Tonghap from Hapdong in Korean Presbyterian Church in 1559. Juksan and Hyewon clearly reject WCC which they think of as being in pursuit of modern biblical criticism and liberalism, even of religious pluralism, as showing a tendency to support communism financially and to intervene in critical political and racial issues, most of all as denying the invisible church whose head is Christ the Lord and its true attributes of unity, catholicity, holiness, and apostolicity.
