The objective of this study was to develop a new quantitative analytical method for 10-HDA in raw royal jelly by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC). Analytical method was optimized using ACN/0.1% H3PO4 solvent system for 5 min in C18 column (2.1¡¿50mm, 1.8um). Method validation for 10-HDA was evaluated by linearity, precision (intra- and inter-day), accuracy, limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ). The marker compound, 10-HDA showed good linearity (R2=1.000) in the range of 5.0-300.0?g/mL. The LOD and LOQ were 0.24 and 0.74?g/mL, respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of precision variability and accuracy were less than 4%. The results showed that the developed UHPLC method was simple, rapid, accurate and reliable for quality assessment of raw royal jelly
