This research aimed at contributing to the development of tourism potential field research and to politic index development which can draw strategic implication for the development of tourism industry of each region by developing the index to objectively assess potentiality of regional tourism resources.
For the index development, the researcher conducted delphi survey for three times targeting the experts, as the analysis result, tourism resources potentiality was divided into natural resources and historical/cultural resources.
Natural resources were divided into 6 subordinate concepts and 26 detail attributes.
Historical/cultural resources were derived with 7 subordinate concepts and 28 detail attributes as the final index.
