‘Hyperconnectivity’and ‘supercooperation’among partners of mobile value chain are the crucial factor for the sustainable growth of a mobile ecosystem. This study analyzes the complex and entangled feedback mechanisms of CPND and cooperation among all partners in the mobile value chain through the revenue sharing to provide strategic policies to strengthen and foster sustainability of mobile ecosystems.
This study drew on strategic variables using a causal loop diagram to achieve more effective revenue sharing among partners of mobile ecosystem. Furthermore, as the virtuous cycle structure of a mobile ecosystem can have unintended impact onto counterpart through revenue sharing, this study analyzed the conversion factors that can change from a virtuous to a vicious cycle using the accidental adversary archetype. Thus, we suggest the crucial factor causing a virtuous to a vicious cycle, and recommend strategic policy to prevent such a vicious cycle in advance.
