독립형 태양광 발전 시스템은 부하에 안정적으로 전력을 공급하는 것이 가장 중요시 되며, 이를 위해서는 태양광 발전 시스템의 발전량 예측이 필수적이다. 발전량 예측을 위해 일사량을 예측하였으며, 일사량은 운량 예측을 통해 구하였다. 운량은 과거 기상자료와 일기예보를 이용하여 예측하였다.
