S&T GPS was established to effectively support policy-making process for government officials and researchers under the circumstance where the provision and management of information concerning S&T policy are lacking. The dictionary will be widely used both in S&T GPS and in various related areas where S&T policy organizations are referred. This standardization will be very helpful especially in S&T policy information exchange between countries. Standardized names and instructions will maximize the credibility of contents and its usage in collaboration between S&T policy-related organizations, and in collection & analysis of oversea policy trends. Above all, the consistency in marking organization names will be achieved by information providers who actually monitor and collect information using unified translations.
