The purpose of this study is to analyze exercise satisfaction and intention for adherence according to the partnership of women engaged in economic activity and figure out their correlation and eventually contribute to developing exercise programs that can satisfy them.
The current study selected 499 working women residing in Daegu Metroplitan City or Gyeongsangbuk-do and being involved in sport activity at the time of May, 2014 as its subjects, and a survey was conducted to them. And by analyzing the data with SPSS Win V20.0 and AMOS V20.0, the author has gained the following results :
First, according to comparative analysis on the characteristic variables, about their marital status, partnership was shown higher in the married, and exercise satisfaction and intention for adherence were found to be higher in the unmarried.
Second, this study’s model was found to be appropriate, and regarding correlating between partnership, exercise satisfaction, and intention for adherence, partnership exerts significant effects on exercise satisfaction and intention for adherence, and exercise satisfaction shows significant effects on intention for adherence.
To sum up the above results, owner-operators, those involved in sport activity regularly for over three years, or the married over 40 years old generally show higher intention for adherence and exercise satisfaction based on partnership. Therefore, if unmarried career women join sport activity at first, it is needed to provided them with a specialized program based on the connection of partnership.
