Recently, the fusion of BIM and cloud computing technologies have been tried to reduce the investment of BIM software and hardware. However, the existing commercial cloud-based BIM services have been mainly focused on sharing and reviewing BIM model data through BIM model viewer and model server. And these services have not been able to reflect different requirements of practitioners in AEC industry. Therefore, this study proposes an additional cloud based BIM services through the demand survey of practitioners, in order that the fusion of BIM and cloud computing technologies are applied to the various construction works.
