This study is to evaluate the relationship between perceived loneliness and leisure activities which are classified by offline leisure activities and smartphone-based online leisure activities. A total of 239 questionnaires out of 260 were completed. For the result, offline leisure activities were classified into 4 activities including offline physical activities, offline hobby activities, offline social activities, and offline entertainment activities. Online leisure activities by using smartphone were divided into 4 activities including smartphone-based online social activities, smartphone-based online hobby activities, smartphone-based online information searching activities, and smartphone-based online activities fostering offline leisure. The results revealed significant impacts of offline social and physical activities as well as smartphone-based online social activities on perceived loneliness. This study can give understanding impacts of online and offline leisure activities.
