This article includes the last part of translation of Abraham Kuyper"s Sphere Sovereignty (Souvereiniteit In Eigen Kring), following the previous article of the same title published in Presbyterian Theological Quarterly , Vol. 81, No. 1, Spring, 2014. This writer also summarized the whole address of Kuyper, delivered on the occasion of opening Free University at the New Church in Amsterdam, in 1880. Translating Kuyper"s Dutch address into Korean is not so easy, because his literary style with many rhetorical expressions is splendid. At the same time we may easily miss Kuyper"s intention without proper understanding of the historical contexts he deals with. By using the concept of “Sphere Sovereignty” Kuyper introduces Free University in its national significance, its scholarly purposes, and its Reformed character.
