Many changes are already occurring in concepts and as well as developing methods of consumer products by emerging digital technology such as software applications in smart appliances.
This study is purposed to get implications through reviewing information hierarchy can be used to build new design concept. Therefore this study had been done by the following categories.
- Characteristics of information hierarchy
- Combination of totalized information hierarchy
- Characteristics of information combination and context
It can be implied the information hierarchy can be used to compose scenario which might be effective to build a new design concept. And the scenario composing requires sequence structure to make story and to confirm details of contents.
The concept building by the information hierarchy would be effective for recent design trends of increasing virtual and non-physical characters.
