The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of 12 weeks well-being. Forty six elderly women were recruited and they participated in water exercise program with 50minutes and 3times a week. Before and after 12 weeks water exercise program, economy stress, health stress, family stress, purpose in life, self acceptance, environmental mastery, positive relation, autonomy, and personal growth were measured. Data were analyzed by SPSS/PC Version 12.0 program. The results of this study were as follows. First, stress factors(economy stress, health stress, family stress) were significantly decreased after 12weeks water exercise program Second, Factors psychological well-being (purpose in life, self acceptance, environmental mastery, positive relation, autonomy, and personal growth) were significantly increased after 12weeks water exercise program Third, stress factors in elderly women were negatively related to psychological well-being factors. In conclusion, decrease of stress factors affect increase of psychological well-being factors.
