The change by the digital technology has been wide and rapid compared with the change having influence on the cinema so far including the introduction of the sound and introduction of the color films. The changes by the digital technology has brought the changes in the aesthetic aspect and the industrial aspect. It caused the change of the new paradigm in the cinema and film education. The matter whether how we train the human resource has to start from the analysis about the requiring any kind of human resource in the industry and society. It has to become concrete and be specialized from the short-term plan customized fostering of human resource to the long-dated film director training plan out of a dichotomous way of thinking.
In the time of the digital media fusion, the topic about the expansion of the educational area and the plan for the education program have to be deeply discussed. The time of the change can bring crisis but can be the chance which can overcome and develop at the same time. We have to start from the essential problem about the aim of the education. We need a serious research for the specialization and the characterization of the curriculum and we have to examine closely the way of the admission for new students.
