The purpose of this study is to read the trend of adventure sports in Korea for the last decade, to grasp the current situation and to forecast the future trend. the method of this study was the top three joumals encompassing various subdivisions of adventure sports. The data was analyzed based on the "key-words"in the theses in those three top journals from 1999 to 2013. As a result, total of 69 paper were selected; and the contents analysis was written based on the selected data and information. This result shows that Korea adventure sports study can be divided in to two terms; the first term form 1999 to 2004, the second from 2005 to 2013 and it is studied by "the number of published theses", "the key words of adventure sports", "major study subjects:", and ":major study of adventure sports activity." The result of this study is as following: First, quantitative expansion was shown through the present condition of publication about adventure sports. Second, the major research topics were about theoretical development of the leisure. Third, the major study subjects were adults, adolescents, university students, women. Fourth, categorizing as sports, ski in winter sprots, skinscuba in marine sports and paragliding in air sports were the most frequently selected for the each category. Fifth, A method for studies of adventure sports, quantitiative studies have mainly been used. Qualitative research and the study of literature was carried out a few.
