In this paper, the author presents the background and implications of recent discovery of B-mode polarization in CMBR(cosmic microwave background radiation), which leads to confirm the existence of gravitational wave. With the discovery of CMBR in 1965, this discovery provides the additional strong supports for the inflation model of the big bang cosmology. Dealing with the process of discovery of the gravitational wave, he presents some critiques for the fundamentalist perspectives on science and Christian faith. As a conclusion, he introduces Meldenius" famous motto “In essentials unity, in doubtful things/non-essentials liberty, in all things charity” and tries to apply it to the controversy on the discovery of gravitational wave.
