This study aims to explore the contents repurposing of Korean historical drama, 〈Deep-Rooted Tree〉. And then it is to contribute to the commercialization of broadcasting contents. As it were, it is to setup the strategy of contents repurposing. In order to examine the strategy of repurposing, this study suggested a complete research model that integrate with several kinds of research model. This research model is processing ‘macro contents → micro contents → key concept → new contents’. It has implication to provide a systematic basis to create value for the commercialization of broadcasting contents. By the research model was suggested developable contents; That contents was classed as five micro contents gotten from the cultural original form of 〈Deep-Rooted Tree〉; Each the five micro contents draw a key concept. The new contents are made by the key concept. Finally this study present developable contents like that ‘program of history education, Seonggyungwan confucian scholar experience center’, ‘program of management·readership education’, ‘movie’, ‘publication of knowledge-based book, animation’, ‘information program of Hangul as cultural heritage, program of korean language education’.
