Korea"s ITS, with a history of more than 20years, is on the transition period of converting to new generation of ITS. Also, this is a desperate time to look forward to overseas market in accordance with the limit of domestic ITS market, and reduction of investment for SOC. However, Korean companies" access to the world market is still in the beginning stage, and there are various problems to be solved. The causes and the solutions are proposed in this paper, based on the lessons & learned gained from overseas experiences in order to inform the excellence of Korea ITS widely, and to secure the competitiveness in the world market.
