In general, automotive information (CAN data) in vehicle is sent and received by composing several signals from ECU to other ECU. This unit of gathered signals is called to message. Based on analyzing this data, we can improve productquality, car development process, manufacturing steps and creating personalized service, etc. According to the usage of data, we are able to divide the fields utilizing the automotive data from full data to tiny data. Therefore, we need the algorithms for ECU including the solution sending dynamic filtered data to external server as well as full data. This paper introduces the message filtering algorithm when collecting and sending automotive data.
