Zhang Jiayin, a famous scholar in the flourishing Ming Dynasty, had great attainments in the Neo-Confucianism, XunYe, metrical composition and Fu and articles. There were so many commentaries on the poems by the scholars in Ming and Qing Dynasties, such as 《Selected Poem Works of Huang Ming》by Chen Zilong, 《Poem Anthology of Past Dynasties》by Qian Qianyi, 《Comprehensive Selected Works of Ming Dynasty》by Zhu Yizun, 《Selected Works of Separate Poem Forms in Ming Dynasty》by Shen Deqian and 《Recording of Poems in Ming Dynasty》by Chentian. All of these works have shown that Zhang Jiayin has been accepted by the main-stream writers in Ming Dynasty. The poem style and the goodness and badness of different styles of Zhang have been analyzed through ascertaining the various comments on Zhang’s poems.
