FEM and metamodeling are used at optimization problem based on computer simulation. Metamodeling is a method that estimates design points by using simulated data. The data is obtained from combination of design of experiments (DOE). Mesh size is properly selected considering adequacy, time, and resources. Convergence error can be caused by selected mesh size at specific models. Kriging is used for estimating convergence error points. Algorithm is suggested to find the boundary of feasible region. Case study using random function and rubber seal shape is used for validation of algorithm.
