This study is to verify the cause-and-effect relationship between junior golfers" exercise commitment and sport confidence on athletic performance. To do this, the survey used one of the probability sampling called multiple regression analysis of more than 200 high school students who were participated in the course of study for the golfers" rule in Korea Junior Golf Association. The final data of 206 students were analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 to do descriptive statistics, factor analysis, correlation and multiple regression analysis and the results are following. First, when the effect of junior golfers" exercise commitment on sport confidence was analyzed, it showed that one of the sub-factors on exercise commitment called cognitive commitment factor had an positive impact(+) on one of the sub-factors of sport confidence called situation confidence and it also showed that two of the sub-factors of exercise commitment had a positive impact on trait confidence. Second, when the effect of junior golfers" exercise commitment on athletic performance was analyzed, it showed that the sub-factors of exercise commitment called cognitive commitment and behavioral commitment had a positive(+) impact on athletic performance, and especially cognitive commitment had a bigger impact.
Third, when the effect of junior golfers" sport confidence on athletic performance was analyzed, it showed that two sub-factors on sport confidence called situation confidence and trait confidence had a positive(+) impact on athletic performance, and especially trait confidence had a bigger impact.
