Recent development of the leisure industry and eco-friendly mode of transport increases, the interest is increasing gradually spread along the bike. The related infrastructure must be built to use bicycles with public transport such as buses and subways. In terms of portability and ease of storage the development of the folding bicycle is the growing sleep. The functional requirements of folding bicycles are the folding feature size reduction, reliability of the hinge and the portability of the folded state. In this study, the folding mechanisms for several typed bicycles were simulated from bike mode to carrier mode with CAD program and the dynamic program such as RecurDyn. In order to implement the mechanism of the folding bike, rotating joints and sliding joints were used. The suitcase folding bike, the carrier bike and the downhill bike were studied from the viewpoint of the portability.
