One of the services that created from social network service, Crowd funding brings new changes to the donation culture. What crowd funding is an act of raising funds from the great number of individual from online, so it settled the location as one of the crucial donation means in developed countries. This research designs the social donation application that imposed crowd funding concept for vitalization of donation.
As a result of analyzing the cases of donation type crowd funding which are running currently in country, following characteristics were shown up. First, they provide various payment options. Second, they use SNS for promotion about collection box. Third, they try to go through screening process of approval itself in the most of suggest processes on donation. This research applied the pros and cons of existing crowd funding deducted through analyzing cases and designed the social donation application with improvements.
The social donation app provides the mobile platform which anyone could participate in donation. It applied simple payment methods and the public rating procedure of collecting box for deriving more donation participation of majority. Especially it promotes the collection box by reinforcing the utilization of SNS, induces more people to join in donation. The upper menus are consist of five options which are ongoing project, candidate project, closing project, create project, my page, and suggested UI lastly.
This left much to be desired on high paying charges, rate of gainshare with android market as planning the social donation application. Also other than drawing postscripts of donation, it has to enhance the system for clearer fund operation. I’m expecting this social donation application improve more and contribute the enhancement of donation culture based on these researches.
