The digital-textbook (also known as the e-textbook) has been attracting more attention both from the Chinese government and researchers especially in the last three years (2010-2013). The aim of this research is to contribute to enhancing the qualities of education resources and applications in China. Our research focuses on expanding the use of digital-textbooks in China, especially uses in Universities. It seems like the trouble with trying to expand the usage of digital-textbooks is not down to students’ attitudes, it’s down to acquiring digital-textbooks with all the adequate features necessary. In order to figure out what basic contents, forms, and functions the students need, and what can be omitted to simplify creating and publishing work, we conducted an online questionnaire. Based on the results and analysis of the survey, we made an outline for future experiments and evaluation research.
