Texture Segmentation of image pictures is utilized for numerous applications. A correctness of the segmentation is a mainly demanded factor of system performance for usual applications, however, some applications require real-time operations the most. In these cases, the most significant factor of texture segmentation can be operation time rather than the accurate texture segmentation. This paper presents a fast texture segmentation method for urgent operation of real-time applications. In order to segment textures of image pictures in a real-time, intra prediction methods are applied to the segmentation. Although the intra prediction based algorithm shows less precise results, its fast operations expected to be useful for urgent operations of real-time applications.
