This research analyses the Korean and Japanese writings of native Korean speakers, where they were asked to fill in cartoon dialogues and then explain the story writing. Incidents where participants’ cognitive processing could be studied selected, and these incidents were woven into the cartoon plot. Particular attention was paid to which characters the participants focused, and how they perceived the incident (construal).
Results indicate that when the participants wrote in Japanese, they tend to focus on certain characters; also, it is to be noted that empathy to the character, and remembering the relationship themselves and the situation the speaker(writer) has passed party to the story, expression description read it and subjective construal were observed around the passive expression. However, follow-up interview it was found that the participants of almost all rely on rote learning by such a passive expression, even advanced learners, like the Japanese native speaker because life cognitive leads to subjective construal.
On the other hand, indicate that when the participants wrote in Korean, they tend to focus on behavior main, so awareness of the cognizing subject has been directed is very fluid. And compared to wrote in Japanese, passive expression is less, a description in the active expression are common. Many of participants have recognized the difference of expression Korean and Japanese, so it was seen difference in construal of both languages. But it was not that led to the expression of cognitive processing such as Japanese speaker.
Therefore in the field of learning Japanese, as well as control of mere sentence pattern, while teach enough situations in which Japanese is used representation, to connect to the Japanese of suspect that these is a need to attention.
