While society becomes an aging, psychological loneliness for elderly, is rapidly increasing, as their few participations in society. Also, elderly needs an enough spaces for spending their leisure time. In order to satisfy these demands, the restaurant for elderly is an excellent example for elderly to spend their leisure time. There is few information recently about the space plan that considered about elderly’s leisure time, although many researches have been studied for resident’s plan in Silver Town. In addition, there are many facts are found in space plan, that was not considered about elderly’s behavior pattern in restaurants for elderly. The purpose of this study was to examine actual conditions of restaurants for elderly and to identify its problems in interior space elements and suggesting elements under those conditions in order to provide a basic reference for further research. Dangerous factors and space planning elements in restaurant for elderly were defined based on the theoretical research. In terms of planning elements for restaurant space for elderly, problems were analyzed and identified, based on elderly’s four stereotypes in Restaurant of Silver Town.
