The acoustic cleaning system is widely used to clear foreign materials in factories, such as thermal power plants and incinerators. However, the acoustic cleaning systems tend to be clogged by foreign materials and are thus deteriorated in terms of the acoustic cleaning power. In this paper, in order to monitor proper operation of the cleaning system, we developed a wave gauge verification sensor, which can monitor a status of the acoustic cleaning system and can wirelessly communicate the status data.
