Similarity analysis on timbre and statistical features using Fisher score is recommended in this paper for efficient classification of underwater transient signal. In order to maximize distintion among groups, Fisher scores are calculated and their similarities are evaluated by Multidimensional Scaling(MDS). The similarity of each class is more increased when some parts of features are used by recommended method than all feature vectors are used.
