The present problems of the city must be solved. The needs of dwellers in the city are as follows. Various social support for family care and prevention against family dissolution, secure and pleasant dwelling environment in which family can enjoy together and family-friendly community must be provided in order to fit for growth for the children as the future talents. We must support the installation of environment to effect upon the environmental attitude and the behavior of children, personality, social emotion development. Surrounding woods and mountains, rivers, farmlands, slope hills, streamlets, ponds, trails around lakes, various sports facilities, playgrounds, parks, etc. are the physical environment, family-friendly human and social environment. In these cases, children could make daily lives with the relation of parents, brothers, peer group, neighbors, local residents in the interaction with them for healthy and sound social relationship. Especially, in a metropolitan city, community environment and natural environment such as a residential environment and family-friendly culture, experiences in educational program could be a background in the daily life of parents and family, which then could effect to the growth development process of children.
Now, wealthy family support center and multicultural family support center are acting with the integral services at the line of the various dimension and comprehensive sight. And child care, family-friendly community project are going on in operational programs. All the projects like care and share, education counseling, the formation of family friendly culture creation, various supporting for family, child care business, etc. are practiced widely in the various programs. In the multi cultural family support center, parents-child education, family education, Korean language training for the child caring mother, supporting services of the child’s life through visiting teachers, evaluation language development, parents counseling, language development training, bilingual training. etc. are going in progress. General child care facilities such as a group child care sharing center, a language development classroom, a sandplay therapy room are acting on with the need of improvement for physical environment.
