The purpose of this study is to examine the validity and reliability of the motivation to experience healing programs for potential participants with confirmatory factor analysis. Thus, this study adopts the comprehensive procedures of measurement scale development recommended by prior studies. Based on the literature review, the instrument consisted of three motivational factors including self-efficacy, self-esteem, and self-control. A self administered questionnaire has been distributed, and 205 questionnaires have been used for the data analysis, and reliability and validity have been conducted, As expected, the scale development procedure yielded a three factor measurement scale with acceptable levels of reliability and validity. The outcomes and applications of the developed scale are discussed both in terms of theoretical and managerial implications.
