Energy Poverty is the one of low-income households who has paid energy cost more than 10 percent of their ordinary income; consequently, they have experienced financial difficulties. Furthermore, they have used inefficient heating apparatus such as briquette and lamp oil; therefore, they have suffered from severe cold in the winter. For those reasons, there are some focused welfare policies and supports, especially in developed countries. There is the improvement program in thermal performance of dilapidated dwelling which have done by Korea Energy Foundation(KEF) since 2007. This study is a quantitative analysis using the Eco-House program made by Korea Institute of Energy Research. A main purpose of the study is an evaluation of effect before and after the remodeling according to KEF"s program.
