Volunteer tourism is a “mix of work”, combines leisure, travel and voluntary work and emerges popularity as an alternative tourism trend. Though, literature relates with socio-cultural movements and volunteer tourism need to be developed. Our research focuses on WWOOF (World Wide Opportunity in Organic Farming), an Organic farming and slow food movement and its contribution towards volunteer tourism. Within the study host and guest inter connections taken into research in finding motivations, constrain and benefits regarding WWOOF movement in Korea. Research mainly consider on contributing new theoretical frame work and concluding experiences gained by both host and guest communities. Grounded theory (GT) taken as the research methodology which sets out to discover new theoretical insights and an inductive. Moreover GT’s strength on qualitative research that focuses on data depth and quality.
