Since the mid of 2000, developing housing markets overseas has become a novel alternative for domestic construction companies due to the construction economic recession and continuing decline of housing There is a purpose that this research would be used to utilize as the basic material for domestic construction companies which have tried to make overseas extension to Cambodia, according to the practical and realistic examples from the P corporation in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In this study, by analyzing structures, properties and inner spatial of unit plans, we have found out that how geological, climatic, religious and residential culture(regional) characters have affected the shape, size, function, proposition of construction plan properties. We expect to this research would be helpful to make domestic construction companies recognize the differences between the projects by unit plan, which couldn’t be found in domestic research data, and to understand of Cambodian unique residential culture
