This project is designed to create a monolithic space for Sunchang Villa. Architectural planing shows symmetry system in plan and elevation. So, our design goal is setting to create perceptional expansion- ceilings are revealed the gable roof shape and various windows including sky light window are adapted. The fireplace located in living room performs heating ability and reveals the height of space with stovepipe. The staircase is changed to improve keep privacy between generation and to get more stability, and walls are removed to draw in light to the inner space. Light is the main element to have variation and natural space. At last, classical lightings added up to harmonize between day and night and a pan added to make flow of inner space.
