Recently, the Urban Entertainment Center(U.E.C) has become a typical cultural facility as the number of users continues to increase. Now, it is necessary for the U.E.C to become a space for healing, beyond just being a shopping and entertaining space, where people can de-stress and feel comfortable. Introducing natural elements to the space would be the most efficient method to create a healing environment. This study investigates the healing effectiveness of natural elements and proposes application methods for introducing such elements to the interior public space of the U.E.C. The research methodology for this study includes research references and field-study. This study can be described as follows. First, according to the findings, natural elements are classified as light, water, and plants. Environment including these elements provide users with psychological satisfaction and emotional stability. Second, when designing a healing environment, light is defined as natural lighting, artificial lighting, and multi-composition of the two. Water is defined as pond, waterway, cascade, fountain, and water-wall. Plants include trees, flowers, and multi-composition of the two. Third, according to the field-study, natural lighting and artificial lighting are used frequently, mainly applied in atriums and open spaces. Water is applied as diverse patterns in diverse places. And in case of plants, small-sized flower planting in pedestrian road and open space was the most common. Fourth, to create a healing environment in U.E.C, it is necessary to actively apply natural elements to the interior public space of the U.E.C.
