아밀로이드증은 다양한 원인으로 조직 내에 아밀로이드가 침착되는 질환으로 다발성 골수종과 동일 범주의 질환이며, 이 질환으로 인해 근골격계의 침착과 병적 골절이 발생할 수 있다. 환자의 치료 및 예후 예측에 정확한 원인의 파악이 중요한데, 저자들은 병적 골절의 발생 및 관절 통증으로 나타난 다발성 근골격계 아밀로이드증을 경험하여 이를 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
