In Vietnam, the inequality between men and women is a popular matter of fact. Although Vietnam has joined most of the international conventions on human rights and Vietnamese Constitution acknowledges the gender equality, human right offence still often occur. In order to restrict the mentioned offence, it is essential to train women with the assurance of human rights. The reality has proved that training women, particularly with human right awareness, plays an indispensable role in ensuring gender equality and human rights of women. Thanks to the training, women"s awareness of every aspect in life has been changed. They become active to participate in social activities. The political, civil, economic, cultural and social rights are guaranteed. To be more specific, women become more active to partake in political activities (the female Representative in National Assembly rate now makes up 25%, higher than the previous term by 2%); or women are protected in the right to own property, the right of land use; women also can enjoy full trading rights, appropriate living standard and social security.... However, due to the regional differences in languages. customs and habits, the training and education for women is coping up with many problems. In the remote areas, woman rights are not protected as well as that in municipal areas. Therefore, to ensure human rights for Vietnamese women better, it is compulsory for the State to promote practical solutions such as to strengthen the training programs for women in remote areas, to be active in propagating human rights to raise people"s awareness of these rights to respect, protect and enhance them. In particular, it is necessary to mobilize the participation of social organizations, non-governmental organizations, training institutions to diversify the training programs (through short-term or long-term courses), thereby women can share their problems in life and the State, basing on that can promulgate sensible policies and laws in order to ensure women"s rights and gender equality.
