Titanium alloys have outstanding performance on corrosion resistance and intensity, which are now partly used in the construction of the platform instead of steels. Based on the rigid-plastic finite element method(FEM) and modified iterative Newton-Raphson method, the deformation region of equivalent strain, equivalent stress, thickness distribution and load during the hot forming of large TC4 alloy cylindrical component were analyzed by numerical simulation under different processing conditions. This simulation was carried out by FE analysis software MSC Marc. The results show that the deformation temperature and punch velocity have important influence on the equivalent strain, equivalent stress and thickness distribution, which have greater effects on the load of TC4 alloy sheet hot forming process than friction. At last, this article achieved optimized technological parameters for the experiment and the simulated results agreed well with the experimental results.
