This paper presents an analysis of multiple scrambling in Korean, where more than one constituents move to the sentence-initial position. To provide an analysis of multiple scrambling, I follow Kim (2011), where long-distance scrambling is analyzed as an instance of A-movement, whose landing site is the Spec TP in Korean. The guiding idea of my analysis is that multiple scrambling is subject to the same principles that apply to single-constituent scrambling. Peculiar behavior in multiple scrambling is that the scrambled phrases are interpreted locally to each other (Kempson & Kiaer 2010). I show that this locality is subsumed under the Minimal Link Condition (Chomsky 1995). I also show that a binding phenomenon in multiple scrambling is accounted for in my analysis. The locality and the binding in the multiple scrambling construction are subsumed under the general principles which are independently motivated in the theory of grammar.
