조영제의 혈관외 유출 손상은 최근 그 빈도가 증가하고 있다. 이러한 손상은 구획증후군, 피부 괴사 등의 심각한 합병증을 유발할 수 있으나 아직 이에 대한 명확한 치료방침이 정립되어 있지 않은 실정이다. 우리는 다량의 조영제 혈관외 유출 손상에 대하여 보존적 치료로 후유증 없이 순조로운 치유와 기능의 회복을 얻은 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다.
